I excluded MEC because I was trying to estimate how many students could reasonably be expected from 125 assignments and including MEC would have biased my yield estimate. At every other school, the number of students was a bit lower than the number of assignments. MEC had 25 students assigned to it in the enrollment round but ended up with 59 TK students, a yield of 236%! I assume it was over 100% because they opened up new slots for people who arrived after the enrollment round and not because they decided, for example, to count all the Zaida Rodriguez students at MEC.
MEC has a dual-immersion TK that is open to everyone and fills in the first round of assignments, so you should count it!
